Wessex Moment of the Month for March 2025 sponsored by Tanners Wines

Poppy Skipper received the very belated presentation at Cothelstone of the Wessex Moment for  the Month for March. She recorded her first ever training victory at Charlton Horethorne with her horse Corporal Jackjones  who won the Restricted race ridden by Martin ‘Fly’ McIntyre. Bought by Poppy for £1 for a syndicate of local friends and trained close by to Charlton Horethorne it was a very popular success and was loudly applauded in the winner’s enclosure
