Message from the Committee
It is our intention to move ALL the fences and bends onto fresh ground for the RA meeting. The forecast is for milder weather next week, as at Fri 10 Jan, which is welcome news and with that the going is likely to be good.

Update from the Clerk of the Course
Thursday course inspection revealed a number of frozen patches of ground and therefore unraceable today. The Committee and senior officials have also looked at the updated weather forecasts and have made the decision that the position will not improve by Saturday and therefore have called the meeting off.

The New Forest meeting on Sunday begun with two well supported charity races which raised the excellent sum of 10K for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance and all participants should be congratulated for their sterling effort to raise this sum.

Harry Ryall, who is starting his third season as a point-to-point trainer based at Peckmoor Farm near Crewkerne Somerset is seeking to improve on his two previous seasons when he trained five and eight winners, respectively.
