After inspecting today (Thursday 10th April), the Committee has made the decision to call off the meeting on Easter Saturday. The going is currently Hard. Without the ability to water and with limited rain forecast this is unlikely to improve. This early decision will give participants time to make alternative plans for the Easter weekend.

Following the cancellation of the meeting at Exeter next Friday, the Final of the Intermediate Series will be held at Wincanton on Wednesday 16th April as part of their fixture. The qualifiers from the various Devon and Cornwall races will be the only horses eligible to participate in the race Out thanks to the Wincanton Executive for their support in running this race.

This weekend sees the culmination of the joint course awards between Badbury Rings and Milborne St Andrew. The Eric Dymott Memorial Trophy presented to the Leading Novice Rider at the two courses could well go again to Rian Corcoran who is currently leading on 14 points from Jack Stenhouse on 8 points and Bubble Barlett on 7.
