Work on the ground started straight after the Weston & Banwell meeting, to put the ground back to a very good condition.
There is a good covering of grass on the course and the ground has been worked on ready for next Sunday.
The going at the moment is Good to Firm.
Watering will take place on Friday/Saturday if necessary to produce safe racing ground.
