Update from the East Cornwall re Health Checks

EAST CORNWALL HUNT POINT TO POINT

EXTRA MEASURES TO MEET REQUIREMENTS OF ANIMAL HEALTH TRUST

SUNDAY 24TH FEBRUARY 2019 12 NOON START

CHECKS WILL COMMENCE FROM 9AM. Please do not arrive at the course before this time. No refunds will be offered to those who are outside the specified timeframe for vaccinations as laid down (ie. 6 months) as entrants were aware of the requirements prior to entering.

Passes will have been dispatched by Weatherbys for those who have requested such.

We will be stopping all horse transport after they enter the gate into a large holding area. Here we have Dr Kieran O’Brien MA MVB(Hons) PhD MRCVS who will check both the passports and the health declaration form. Please do not forget your passports. Entry will have to be denied if either do not meet the regulations. Should only one horse in transit with others fail to meet the criteria all horses on board will be denied access. No refund of entry will be offered in such instances.

Do not bring any horses/ponies/companions who do not meet the regulations as currently set or your entry will have to be denied.

Once this is confirmed in order the horse transport will then be allowed to drive into the designated parking area.

The outriders are on horses who have the same checks completed and meet the 6 month rule for vaccinations as set out for point to point horses. No other horses will be allowed on the track. There are 3 further vets in attendance.
