Joe Neal winner of the Eric Dymott Novice Rider Trophy

Bob Bracher presented the Eric Dymott Novice Rider Trophy for the leading Novice rider at Badbury Rings and Milborne St Andrew at Ston Easton to Joe Neal this year’s winner.

Joe runs a pre training yard near Hartpury College Gloucester and as part of this he has a few point to pointers which he trains and rides himself. Although he has not ridden a winner this season his three place efforts at the two Badbury Rings meetings were enough to secure the trophy and the decanter as a memento. Unlike  several of the recent winners he has no plans to turn conditional and will continue to ride in point to points for the future. He was delighted to be the leading Novice rider at the two courses for this season.
