The riders of the first three past the post will score points for the Harley Racing National Novices Riders Championship; the riders of the first four horses past the post are eligible for the £1000 PPORA Novice Riders’ Final, Grafton, Edgcote, Sunday 19th May; the first four horses and riders past the post will score points for the PPORA Members’ Awards
For a PERPETUAL CHALLENGE CUP, Mementoes to the winning Owner and Rider
PRIZE MONEY 1st £175, 2nd £100, 3rd £50
SPECIAL CONDITIONS For horses that are owned and ridden by current Members of the PPORA; for riders who, up to and including 17th November 2018, have won not more than five races under the Rules of any recognised Racing Authority (Point-to-Points included); Owners must be an eligible member of the PPORA by close of entries; Riders must be an eligible member of the PPORA by declaration of the horse. For information on how to satisfy these conditions, please refer to page 25
PENALTIES A winner on or since 19th November 2017 of two races under the Rules of any recognised Racing Authority (Point-to-Points included, Maiden and Hunt Members races excepted) to carry 3lb extra; of three or more such races, 5lb extra

PENALTIES A winner on or since 1st July 2017 of a steeplechase or hurdle race under the rules of any recognised racing authority (Point-to-Points excepted) to carry 7lb extra, a winner of three or more Mens, Ladies or Mixed Open Point to-Point races in this period to carry 7lb extra, of two such races 4lb extra; a winner on or since 1st July 2017 of three or more Club Members, Conditions or Confined races to carry 4lb extra
