In past seasons this Award was presented to the Leading Trainer in the Wessex Area with 10 or more horses in their yard.
Points can be scored in all races run at Badbury Rings, Charlton Horethorne, Chilfrome, Cothelstone, Cotley, Holnicote, Larkhill, Milborne St Andrew, South Hill and Ston Easton
5 pts for 1st, 4 pts for 2nd and 3 pts for 3rd in all races
For the avoidance of doubt, the number of horses in any trainer's yard is taken from the latest official list of Hunter Certificates issued by the PtP Racing Co.
In the case of a dead heat, the points for the particular position shall be added to that of the next position and divided equally between those involved
