For The Leading Novice Rider in the Wessex P-t-P Area
A Novice Rider will have ridden five or fewer winners under the Rules of any recognised Racing Authority (Point-to-Points included) at the start of the current season (Sunday 29 November 2015). (NB: This definition was changed for 2014/15 from a previous maximum of three winners)
Points can be scored in all races run at Badbury Rings, Charlton Horethorne, Chilfrome, Cothelstone, Cotley, Holnicote, Larkhill, Milborne St Andrew, South Hill and Ston Easton
Presentations to the winner, runner-up and third will be made at the Wessex Area Awards evening.
4 pts for 1st, 2 pts for 2nd and 1 pt for 3rd in all races
In the case of a dead heat, the points for the particular position shall be added to that of the next position and divided equally between those involved
