New Trophy at the South Dorset meeting for young jockeys

The Norman Tory Memorial Challenge Trophy' will be awarded to the youngest jockey of the day to complete the course.  This has kindly been donated by Monica Tory and her family in memory of Norman

Norman was a true sportsman who loved the countryside and supported the South Dorset Hunt for more than 50 years including owning, training and saddling 18 point to point winners. He was on the South Dorset point to point committee and race starting team for many years, including 2019.

Norman, affectionately known as Nor, always encouraged the young hence the trophy given in his memory – for the youngest rider to complete throughout the day.
