Update from Badbury Rings (Friday evening)

Following Storm Eunice which has battered the race course we have had an inspection for the entire site. The main issue today has been the wind rather than rain.

The racecourse currently is good/good to soft and we foresee no issues with emergency vehicles getting around the course.  

Whilst the temporary structures have suffered some damage and after discussion with the marquee contractor the majority of the damage has been repaired late this afternoon.

We have also asked members of the Portman Hunt to bring their lorries on Sunday to build a wind break around the tentage.  

Currently we remain on course to race on Sunday, 1st race 11.25am and we will update on Saturday evening as necessary.
