Racing Welfare & Winter Fuel Grants

Racing Welfare of course lend their support to members of the point to point community, and as such I wanted to make you aware that RW have recently launched a Winter Fuel Grant. The grant is for those employed in or retired from the racing and thoroughbred breeding industry who are currently living on or below the Minimum Income Standard.  Further information on the eligibility criteria can be found on the Racing Welfare website. 

Anyone who is unsure whether they qualify is encouraged to contact Racing Welfare. The Welfare team will offer assistance with this grant and also help racing staff to claim any other statutory entitlements. Racing’s Support Line can be contacted, in confidence, 24 hours a day on 0800 6300 443.
