Combined Services New Date

The Combined Services meeting which was due to run on 4th February but was lost due to frost will now run their meeting at Larkhill on Sunday 18th March.

Entries will close on Monday 12th March at 12.30pm. All other conditions will be as per page 136 of the National Point to Point Planner.

With 10 days to go, we are all looking  forward to the start of the Wessex season at Larkhill. If you are planning to enter please check with the PTP Racing Company website for their opening hours over the New Year period to ensure your entry is received.

Sponsored Walk with a Twist Saturday 17th December

Fundraising friends and well-wishers of Richard Hawkins, the point-to-point rider turned amateur jockey seriously injured in a fall at Taunton in April, are planning a sponsored walk with a difference. 

There is a 9 mile footpath around Wimbleball Lake, near Brompton Regis on the edge of Exmoor, and they'll be setting out to walk it, hopefully by moonlight, at 10pm on Saturday, 17 December. "Some of us will be attempting a second circuit too!" grins Laura Warren, Head Girl at Jeremy and Camilla Scott's training establishment nearby.
